An assembly which includes a steel stamping, U-bolt, two square nuts and a sign mounting bolt.
These components are steel, zinc plated, economical and corrosion resistant. Which has a large, flat contact area which is better for wind loading.
The hole in the steel stamped part is tapped and it permits a preferred method of sign mounting. Signs can be mounted with open end or adjustable wrenches.
This assembly is used to mount a sign onto a 2" post and two asseblies are required to mount one sign.
